Identifying the Causes of Tree Decline in Urban Environments Using Fluorescence “Fingerprinting”

2004 | Dr. Glynn Percival, R.A. Bartlett Tree Research Laboratory/University of Reading, Professor C. Payne/University of Reading
Changes in leaf fluorescence parameters are unique to specific environmental and chemical stresses frequently encountered in urban landscapes. This project will investigate if interpretation of a range of fluorescence responses can be used to construct a fluorescence fingerprint for different stresses.
