TREE Fund 2018 Annual Report

2018 was a very successful year for TREE Fund!
Some highlights include:
  • We made 18 cash awards for research grants, educational programs and scholarships totaling $346,267, one of our highest years on record, leaving us just shy of $4.0 million in total awards over our history
  • We completed the campaigns for the Bob Skiera Memorial Fund and the John Wright Memorial Scholarship Fund and will begin making awards under these endowments in 2019
  • We established the Davey Community Education Fund with an initial pledge of $250,000 from The Davey Tree Expert Company
  • Our signature community engagement event, the Tour des Trees, raised over $340,000 for research, included a record number of K-12 education programs, and introduced the “Virtual Tour” concept for those who cannot make the full-time commitment to ride with us
