Giving Tuesday jumpstarts Annual Appeal
#GivingTuesday (December 2, 2014) was a great kickoff for the TREE Fund’s 2014 Annual Appeal. The foundation raised $2,605, meeting a challenge match from Rocky Mountain Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture. Rocky Mountain matched all gifts to the TREE Fund on #GivingTuesday, up to $2,000. With this generous gift, the TREE Fund is on its way to achieving its goal of raising $20,000 by December 31.
The TREE Fund is dedicated to advancing knowledge in arboriculture and urban forestry by funding research grants, education grants and scholarships. Donations to the TREE Fund make it possible for:
- Researchers to discover safer, more effective tree care practices
- Students to pursue careers in tree care and related professions
- Kids to explore nature and learn to care for the environment.
Donations can be made online or by mail at TREE Fund, 552 S. Washington St., Ste. 109, Naperville, IL 60540.
The TREE Fund is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization; all contributions to the TREE Fund are tax deductible within the limits of the law. The TREE Fund’s Federal ID Number is 37-1018692.
