Urban Forest Foundation

In an effort to maximize the growth of its Urban Forest Foundation, the Urban and Community Forestry Society’s (UCFS) is partnering with TREE Fund to guide, invest, and support the Foundation.

The Urban Forest Foundation (UFF) was established to engage in the development, support, and promotion of urban forest training and the dissemination of technical and operational information. It provides funding for UCFS programs such as the Municipal Forestry Institute and the Municipal Arborist Exchange Program, as well as the development of new programs designed to improve education of urban forestry professionals.

Municipal Forestry Institute

The Municipal Forestry Institute (MFI) is an exciting, high-level training opportunity that guides professionals in the leadership and managerial aspects of urban forestry. This week-long intensive educational program delivers a challenging, yet rewarding, opportunity to learn how to grow more successful community tree programs.

Arborist Exchange Program

The Arborist Exchange Program offers urban forestry and municipal arborist professionals from around the world the opportunity to engage with colleagues, and experience urban forestry challenges and successes in varying political and cultural settings.
