The TREE Fund is pleased to welcome two new members to its Board of Trustees.

Mike Robinson was born and raised in Wayne, MI, and earned his B.S. in forestry from Michigan Tech in 1974. He has made his home in Illinois since going to work as a production employee with The F.A. Bartlett Tree Expert Company in 1974. He’s since moved up to Vice President and Midwest Division Manager for Bartlett Tree Experts, and lives in Northbrook with his wife of 39 years, Danya. Mike brings a wealth of experience, strong people skills and an extensive network in the arboriculture industry to the TREE Fund Board.

 

 

Jeff Carney is Senior Arborist for National Grid, a veteran of 7 Tours des Trees, the TREE Fund Liaison for the New England Chapter and the newly elected chair of the Liaison Committee of the TREE Fund Board. He served, with Clem Desjardins as co-chair of the 2009 STIHL Tour des Trees Committee, and was instrumental in bringing National Grid on board as the TREE Fund’s first Crown Sponsor ($50,000) in 2009. Jeff is a resident of Lebanon NH, and is committed to championing the TREE Fund and the Tour des Trees to utility arborists and anyone else who will listen. He joined fellow trustees Kristin Wild and Hallie Dozier on the roads of northern Illinois during the 2010 STIHL Tour des Trees “Chicago Loop Tour”, and is on the planning committee for the 2011 Tour.
