Need Some R&R? (Relaxation for Research)

However you like to relax, we have your next vacation at the TREE Fund “Raise Your Hand for Research” live auction—and you’ll be supporting tree research and education at the same time!
Our exciting and diverse auction catalog is made possible by the generous contributions from ISA Chapters, industry leaders and individuals—all for the benefit of the TREE Fund. Offerings include vacations in Italy, Bali, Africa, Hawaii or southern California, and soothing getaways in the mountains of North Carolina or the scenic highlands of Pennsylvania. You can tour the famous Sam Adams brewery as part of a weekend in Boston, play 18 holes at the renowned American Club in Wisconsin, or experience the thrill of horse racing at Churchill Downs in Louisville. The choice is yours with a cruise to any Holland America destination or a freshwater fishing experience at a variety of locations across the nation.
Like last year, you can buy a Golden Ticket for the chance to take home the live auction item of your choice. Just 50 tickets will be sold for $100 each; the winning ticket entitles its owner to claim their heart’s desire just minutes before the bidding begins on August 5. Doors open for the auction at 6:00 p.m. August 5 at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto. Tickets are $30 (through July 31) at the TREE

Beyond the bidding action, auction guests can sample Ontario wines, try their luck at winning “His and Hers” Apple iPad Minis, and mingle with tree care’s top researchers at the Researcher Reception. New this year is a Centerpiece Auction—the highest bidder at each table wins the centerpiece boxes and all their contents! The evening also includes a cash bar and complimentary hors d’oeuvres. Attire is business casual.
The TREE Fund Silent Auction is on the ISA trade show floor again this year, adjacent to TREE Fund booth #629. Bidding opens Sunday, August 4 on a wide array of necessities and indulgences for arborists, tree enthusiasts, connoisseurs and collectors, and continues through Tuesday at 1:00 pm. Also, be sure to buy a key and see if it unlocks one of our Mystery Boxes! If your key opens the lock, you win the prize inside!
