Power Source Alliance recognizes perennial utility sponsors

Sponsorship recruitment for 2013 is off to a strong start with commitments of support through 2014 from STIHL Inc. (Title Sponsor of the STIHL Tour des Trees), Bartlett Tree Experts (TREE Fund Crown Sponsor) and Asplundh Tree Expert Co. (TREE Fund Partner).

In addition, APS, National Grid, PacifiCorp and PG&E launched the Power Source Alliance in 2011, pledging $10,000 annually to support the STIHL Tour des Trees. Power Source Alliance membership is restricted to members of the utility industry, and recognizes organizations which commit a minimum of $5,000 annually to support the TREE Fund’s biggest fundraiser.

Sponsorships of the TREE Fund, the Tour and the Raise Your Hand for Research Auctions defray the costs associated with fundraising, ensuring that the money raised by Tour riders or generated by auction sales are available for support of research and education programs.

Sponsors are recognized in print and electronic media, on site at TREE Fund events and on the official apparel of the STIHL Tour des Trees (TREE Fund and Tour sponsors only). Sponsorship opportunities begin at $2,500 and are detailed on the Sponsor pages at www.treefund.org and www.stihltourdestrees.org. Contact Mary DiCarlo at 630-369-8300.
